Rules
1) Points
This is a single judged show.
2) Entry Fees
Entry fees are $12 for halter, $15 for performance, and $10 for youth classes.
3) Payback Premiums
Payback premiums will be awarded in open and amateur classes with three entries or more. Exhibitors may enter any number of animals per class, but payback will be made only to the top two placing entries.
4) Proof of Registration
All AMHA shows are open to any horses registered with AMHA whose exhibitor is able to prove valid registration.
Horses may be shown if the exhibitor furnishes proof that the registration application has been received in the AMHA office with all requirements met prior to the show. To enter an AMHA approved show the exhibitor must use the complete name and number of the animal as it is shown on the horse’s registration certificate. Show chairman shall accept as proof only a signed statement or oral verification from the AMHA office that the horse can be shown. Please send copies of both sides of registration papers with your entires.
6) Amateur & Youth Cards
Current Amateur and Youth Cards are required to compete in those classes. Please send copies with your entries, or will be available at the show office.
7) Substitutions
No substitutions or changes are acceptable. Horses shown under false identity will be automatically and immediately disqualified by the show management. The protest fee is waived.
8) Gelded Status
Gelded status must be reflected on registration certificate for horse to be shown in any AMHA classes.
9) Senior Stallion Health Requirements
All Senior stallions are required to present an official AMHA Certificate of Veterinary Inspection for cryptorchidism or monorchidism, signed by a licensed veterinarian, to show management prior to entry; forms are available from the AMHA office.Any stallion without a form on file with the show manager or displaying cryptorchid or monorchidism will be disqualified.
10) Judge Evaluation Reports
AMHA Judge Evaluation Reports are voluntary and shall be made available by show management to each exhibitor. Each farm or stable may complete one report per judge per show.
11) Measurement Cards
All horses must be measured or present a current valid measurement card to the measuring official prior to start of show.
12) Measurement Dates
Measurement will be held Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 5:30-6:00 pm and Wednesday, Sept.23, from 7:00-8:00 am.

To be based on cumulative awards from both judges in those classes specified above as YOUTH CLASSES plus the mandatory halter class for the horse’s sex and age. This is a one horse/one youth combination award. All youth must have an AMHYA Youth Card (can be obtained at the Horse Show Office before the show.)
